Services
We are responsible for lifting and placing the pre-fabricated modules of a home onto its foundation. Working side by side with a crane operator, our crew carefully positions each module, making sure everything is perfectly aligned and securely connected. This step is one of the most crucial aspects of the modular home process, as it determines the structural integrity, safety, and overall quality of the finished home.
The Process
- Preparation: We prepare the site, ensuring the foundation is level and ready to receive the modules.
- Rigging: We attach the rigging (straps or cables) to the modules for the crane to lift them.
- Lifting and Placement: The crane lifts each module, and our crew guides it into its designated position on the foundation.
- Alignment and Connection: Our crew ensures the modules are accurately aligned and connected to the foundation.
- Securing: We secure the modules to the foundation and make any necessary adjustments.
- Weatherproofing: On "set day", our crew will get the home weathertight by completing tasks like roof section installation, gable end framing, and house wrap.
